Currently living in the Pacific Northwest, Jamey is a husband, father, US naval veteran, singer, performer, and composer. He has been involved in the creation and performance of music for almost his entire life, beginning when his parents enrolled him in the Helena Boychoir at the age of 10 and continuing to this day.

Jamey endeavors to write music that is not only enjoyable and interesting, but also accessible. He strives to produce music that musicians not only will want to play, but also will be able to play with a reasonable amount of practice. He feels it doesn't matter how great your music is if no one can play it. His works include pieces for guitar and cello, bassoon, woodwind quartet and choir, voice, guitar jazz ensemble, and numerous folk style songs.

As an Orthodox Christian, Jamey believes God has given each of us certain gifts, and these gifts are meant to be shared with the rest of humanity. It is his sincere hope that his music blesses the listener and performer alike, and that it illuminates for them the beauty that God has given this world.
